Amanda Waley
Published author Amanda Waley shares limelight with co-author Sara Megan Cay at local book signing. Amanda is on the staff at Progressive Options in South Beach, Oregon. "During my life on the Oregon Coast I have always wanted to be like everyone around me. The simple pleasures we all take for granted, have become important to me. "I now live independently in the community. This is my second year working part-time at the Newport Middle School. I'm a peer wellness counselor and started with Accountable Behavioral Health Alliance and am learning computers. I live independently in the community. My life has grown since I have been coming to Progressive Options. I'm also so proud of myself I just completed an 11 week training which lasted for over one year. Now I have a certificate to be a Co-Leader in life skills program at Lincoln County Mental Health. |
